James Hansen

James Hansen graduated from QHS in 1988. He was a two year starter for the football team. In '87 was an H-back and defensive end/tackle on the team that made the playoffs and was quarterbacked by Eric Bush. In '88 James was a starter at offensive tackle and defensive tackle. He won the Rob McIntyre award, Golden Helmet award, was named to the all area teams by the Herald-Whig, KHQA and KTVO. He was also first team All Western Big Six.
James then went to WIU on a full football scholarship where he was a two year starter (23 consectuive games) at right guard my junior and senior years. His senior year he was voted the team's most outstanding lineman, First Team All Gateway Conference and COSIDA/GTE Academic All-American.
