2016 Season...

The 2016 season came to a close on Saturday after a tough loss to Willowbrook.  We're proud of our teams' accomplishments this year.  Western Big 6 Champions and an 8 - 2 record. 

Sincere thanks go to the coaching staff, our team managers and the many volunteers who give of their time and effort to make our program great.  Concessions workers, apparel workers, chain gang, press box and booster club members and Blue Devil Football alumni volunteer their time on game days to serve others and build our program.  THANK YOU!!  YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

 

QHS vs. QND

QHS vs. QND this Friday!  Game time 7:00 pm at QND.  Should be a great night.  Hoping for no rain this year!

**Tickets for the QHS vs. QND game are on sale now in the QHS Athletic Office.  7:00 am until 3:30 pm.  Office closed between 12:30 till 1:00 pm. All tickets $6.00.**

Senior Night!

Hard to believe we are already preparing for Senior Night!  Our Football seniors will be recognized between the Sophomore and Varsity games Friday night.  Devils take on United Township.  Should be a great night.  Don't miss it...Go Devils!!

**Advance tickets for the QHS/QND game will be sold Monday, October 17th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the QND ticket booth.  All tickets $6.00**

 

North Lawndale this Friday...

Congrats, Devils on the win over Alton!  Up next, North Lawndale at 1313 S. Sacramento, Chicago, IL.  Devils make the long road trip up north this Friday, September 9th.  Sophs play at 5:00 pm, and Varsity kick off at 7:30 pm.  Go Devils!!  Bring home a win!

 

**UPDATE:  THERE WILL NOT BE A SOPHOMORE GAME.  VARSITY PLAY AT 7:15 PM.  GAME WILL BE PLAYED AT KNUTE ROCKNE STADIUM, 1117 SOUTH CENTRAL AVE., CHICAGO, IL**

Blue/White Scrimmage Time!

Blue Devils are getting ready to go!!  The Blue/White Scrimmage is set for this Friday, August 19th at Flinn Stadium.  The schedule is as follows:

6:00 - Introductions

6:10 - 6:40 - Quincy Youth Football League

6:50 - 7:20 - 7th and 8th Grade Teams

7:30 - Varsity

7:42 - Freshman/Sophomore

7:54 - Varsity

8:06 - Freshman/Sophomore

Entry fee:  One Sports Drink

Blue Devil Football needs concessions workers!!  The Blue Devil Football program needs everyone to pitch in and roll up their sleeves to help our program and our guys.  If you are a current or past booster club member, QYFL parent or grandparent and can help in the concessions area, please contact Julie Rupert, at rupertju@qps.org.  We appreciate any and all help. 

First Day of Practice and Picture Schedule...

Practice begins Monday, August 8th from 7:00 am - 10:00 am. Your player will be kept up to date on the practice schedule from his coaches.

Picture day is Monday, August 8th!! The schedule is as follows:

2:00 pm - senior photos (Mrs. Shepherd will give seniors the details)

4:00 pm - 1,000 lb. club (Mrs. Shepherd will give details to 1,000 lb. club members)

5:00 - Varsity at Flinn Stadium

5:30 - Sophomores at Flinn Stadium

6:00 - Freshmen at Flinn Stadium

6:30 - 8th grade at Flinn Stadium

7:00 - 7th grade at Flinn Stadium

**Team pictures will be taken first!!   Be ON TIME!!
