Freshman Camp underway and 7 0n 7 Thursday at Camp Point

Blue Devils Football Camp. July 5-9 and July 19-23!

This Thursday July 1, the Blue Devils Varsity and JV (freshman and sophomores) will travel to Camp Point to participate in a 7 on 7 passing tournament. The players will leave from Flinn at 5:00 pm with the tournament starting at 6:00 pm. Parents are welcomed to attend and Coach Little will need some transportation help with the younger players. There will be a Varsity bracket and a JV bracket. All players that play QB, WR, TE, RB, DB and LB are welcome to attend.
Players if possible wear a Blue Devil shirt and a pair of black shorts. There will be concessions available at the tournament. Players contact Coach Little by Wednesday if you can attend.
Extra News and Notes: Freshman camp is underway and the freshman look great and are working hard. Also a change in the schedule has occured. The Matea Valley game has been changed from September 4th to September 3rd at 7:00 pm and the Sophomores at 5:00 pm. The game will still be played at Flinn, but was moved from Saturday to Friday per the request of Matea Valley.
Congrats to the Blue Devils who participated in the 2010 Do or Die All-Star Game. The East (Illinois) squad won the game 14-0 and the Devils where represented by Nick Doellman, Alex McNay, Reed Cox, D.J. Powell, Jimmy Ely and Brad Bowen. Great job guys you did the Devils proud!
