            The QHS FootballTeam is having a fundraising dinner, January 22, 2010, at the Baldwin School Cafeteria from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm before the United Township Basketball game.  You do NOT have to attend the basketball game to go to the dinner.  The cost of the dinner is $6.00 and it includes mostacholli, salad, breadstick, dessert and a drink.  We are asking all football players to sell 10 tickets.  If in fact you sell all 10 tickets, you get a football tshirt as a prize.  We are asking that all tickets sold or unsold be turned in with the money on or before January 15, to the athletic offices at QJHS or QHS in the original envelope or an envelope with your name on it so we can award prizes.  We are also asking each parent to make a dessert for the dinner.

 

7^th Grade and 8^th Grade – cookies

9^th Grade and 10^th Grade – cakes, dessert bars

11^th Grade – Pies

This is only one way the football/booster club/alumini committee raises money throughout the year.   WE NEED YOUR HELP!  We raise about $40,000.00 each year for the football program for all levels.  We pay for some of the coaches salaries, uniforms for the players, equipment, buses, end of the year banquets, and many other expenses incurred at all levels.  Without the booster clubs there would be no programs.  Our meetings are the first Thursday of each month at the QHS Library.  There is no fee to become a member and we definitely can use more input and new ideas.  Please try to attend a meeting and just see what we are all about.

 

Some of our fundraisers are this dinner before a basketball game, the Dogwood Bowl, concessions from the home games, and blue cards.  We will be contacting each of you for your help at some of these events. Please try to participate whenever it is possible.  We look forwad to working with all of you at various events throughout this year and thanks again for your help.
