Coach Little is an alumnus of Carthage High School and was an All-State quarterback for the Blueboys his senior year. He then played at Augustana College and later transferred to Blackburn College where he was team captain, pre-season All-American and is their all time leading passer. Coach Little currently holds 15 single season/career records at Blackburn College. While in college Rick was scouted by Green Bay Packer scout Lee Gissendaner. Coach Little has had stints in the indoor arena football league where he was the starting quarterback for the Flint (MI) Flames, St. Louis Renegades and the Show Me Believers. Coach Little has spent time as a teacher and coach at Edwardsville High School, Quincy High, and Hamilton where he got his first head-coaching job. As a head coach in Hamilton, Coach Little made the playoffs in his first year breaking the schools ten year playoff absence and his teams made the playoffs four times in his five years. In 2006, Coach Little won a conference championship, finished with an undefeated regular season and advanced to the 3A state quarterfinals while leading his team to an 11-1 record and a state ranking. In 2009, Little's Blue Devils finished with a 7-2 regular season record and advanced to the 6A state playoffs. Just last season, Little's Devils advanced to the 7A playoffs while earning a 7-2 record. In 2010 the Devils also earned their first Associated Press top ten Illinois high school football state ranking for class 7A. Coach Little has received two "Coach of the Year" awards, one in 2006 by the Burlington Hawkeye and in 2009 from the Quincy Herald Whig. Coach Little is a Dean of Students at Quincy Senior High School and has a MA in Education from Lindenwood University as well as a MA in Administration from William Woods University. Coach Little and his wife, Julie, reside in Quincy and have 3 children, son Bradyn (5), daughter Brooklyn (4) and son Bryson (1).

He spent his first two years as an assistant coach for the QJHS 7th and 8th grade football teams before transferring to the varsity program. Coach Dade played basketball for JWCC, where he received an A.S. degree in Applied Fire Science, and is a Lieutenant in the Quincy Fire Department. Offense and Defensive Line Coach VarsityVarsity Coach | Coach Wosman is the offense and defensive line coach for the Blue Devils with over twenty-five years of coaching experience. He is a graduate of Quincy College with a degree in Physical Education. He has previously coached at Quincy University, Quincy Notre Dame and Culver-Stockton College. Jim was also an outstanding baseball player. Jim was taken in the 8th round of the 1967 Major League Baseball Draft by the Detroit Tigers with the 155th pick overall. Linebackers Coach VarsityVarsity Coach | Jose Quintero “Coach Q” is in his third season as an assistant coach under Coach Little. He coaches linebackers. Coach Q started his coaching career 37 years ago in Marceline High School in Missouri. There he was the defensive coordinator and coached defensive backs. He later became head coach at Marceline High School. After 10 years at Marceline High School he came to Quincy Sr. High School where he coached the Blue Devils from 1984-2006 as the Defensive Coordinator and coached defensive backs and linebackers. Quintero is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, played high school ball at Bishop Eagan High School and collegiate ball at Northeast Missouri State University until suffering a knee injury. Dickens was the first head coach of the Quincy College Hawks football team when it was resurrected in 1986 and served in that role for the next five years. He later became head coach at Quincy High School where he coached the Blue Devils from 2002-2006. Dickens started his coaching career nearly 30 years ago as a graduate assistant coach at Indiana University. After three years there he moved on to coaching stops at Wabash College and Rose Holman University until reaching Quincy.
